Get to know Tess and Kenny
For Tess and Kenny, life is about being free, curious and open to everything that happens when you dare to follow your feelings. They don’t want to live stuck in a 9–5 life, but travel the world, listen to nature and meet people with an open heart. Kenny has been surfing since he was three years old and describes how the ocean always takes him from darkness and cold to something that feels completely alive. Tess learned to surf in Costa Rica and loves how yoga and surfing go hand in hand – the same focus, the same courage, the same presence.
She has both a respect and a fear of the water, but right there, in the ugly and insane, something big happens. When you face your fears, you grow, and a single wave is enough to feel pure euphoria. During New Year's week, they bring that energy into our living room.

Winter weather in Baleal
Many people think it rains here all winter, but that’s not the case. Winters often bring sunny days with pleasant temperatures of 15–20 °C in the shade, and considerably warmer in the sun. It feels more like a Swedish early summer than winter, and with almost twice as many hours of sunshine as in Stockholm, you’re guaranteed more energy and a better mood!
