Hi, it's me, Magnus!
The first time I tried surfing was in the summer of 2013. Since then, I’ve been hooked; the euphoria of catching a wave and feeling the power of the ocean was unlike anything I had experienced before. So, in 2016, I started Magnus & friends to spread that love further.
With several years of experience as a teacher and principal, I wanted to offer a different kind of surf school infused with a sense of home and warmth, as well as pedagogy and strategies in coaching, meals, and accommodation. All mixed with great waves and stunning nature.
Everyone at Magnus & friends, no matter how different we may be, is one big passionate family with a common dream: to create an unforgettable surfing experience for you.
Regardless of age or level, we want to make you love surfing as much as we do. In addition to teaching you how to surf, we also want to share the wonderful lifestyle and atmosphere surrounding surfing. We believe that the better you become, the more fun you have – that’s why we want to create conditions and a place you want to come back to, time and time again.

Our philosophy
At Magnus & friends, we teach surfing to make the sport accessible to everyone. We offer clear, concise, and systematic coaching. Through a combination of coaching on the beach and in the water, video feedback, and theory sessions, we provide you with a solid foundation for your surfing development.
Using photos and videos from your surf session, you’ll receive valuable feedback to optimize your performance on the surfboard. These photos will also be provided for you to take home to remember your experience and share with family and friends.
In addition to becoming confident, self-assured surfers, a visit with us is just as much about fellowship, laughter, and the feeling of living in the moment.
We provide trained, experienced, and delightful instructors and, of course, high-quality equipment. All surf instructors in the Magnus & friends team are certified lifeguards and surf instructors.
