As the second to last day of the year is upon us, we want to pause and reflect on a fantastic year. Here are some of the highlights from the past year!
Premiere on Fuerteventura
Following many requests for another destination with a short flight time, a warm and sunny climate and of course fantastic surf – we finally found the right one. At the beginning of 2024 we opened our new camp on Fuerteventura! From January to April we created magical memories in crystal-clear blue water with volcanoes in the background.
Savory dinner package and maxed-out after-surfs!
With the help of good teamwork, this year we have upgraded our entire camp concept! Our new bar, for example, quickly became the meeting point of the afternoons with good drinks in hand and a lovely hang in the sunset. To make it even easier for our guests, we have also developed a dinner package with concept dinners. Now we prepare and serve four delicious dinners during the week, something that quickly became incredibly popular (and very tasty)! How about Manges fajitas or a Point Break fish taco, perfectly combined with a spicy margarita, on our taco night?
Beach cleanups that have resulted in over 120kg of rubbish collected!
We want to ensure that the ocean becomes a clean environment for future surfers. During the year we have organized regular beach cleanups. It's so nice to see how engaged our guests have been. Together we have taken care of our beloved beaches and collected over 120 kg of rubbish!
New clothes?
We have launched our very own merch collection with hoodies, t-shirts and caps in different colors and prints! Our incredible colleague Sara Hörvallius is behind the stylish design and we are so proud of the result.
New! Surf guiding package
This summer we presented our new Surf Guiding Package – a choice for those who already feel at home in the lineup and want to take the next step in their surfing development!
Together with the Zelmerlöv & Björkman foundation we raised 155,000 SEK!
Since 2021 we have been proud partners of the Zelmerlöv & Björkman Foundation, which helps young people in Kenya with food, education and housing. At this year's charity gala in November we auctioned off a surf trip worth 155,000 SEK – an amount that went directly to the foundation. Together with other partners, the total amount was an incredible 5.6 million SEK, which goes directly to giving young people in Kenya better opportunities for the future.
