Refund if you become ill right up to departure
If you, a travel companion, or someone in your family becomes ill with COVID or any other illness or injury before departure, check with your insurance company what they can provide you. Provided you have insurance that covers you/all family members for illness when traveling. Call us at +46850235350 or email us, and we will assist you if this happens or if you have any questions.

Baleal, Portugal
To reach us in Baleal, you fly to Lisbon-Portela Airport (LIS).

Fuerteventura, Spain
To reach us in Fuerteventura, you fly to Puerto del Rosario Airport (FUE).

We recommend booking directly through the airline’s website (often more affordable, as there are no intermediaries involved). In today’s circumstances, most airlines also offer good change and cancellation policies for your peace of mind.

It’s also possible to take the train to Lisbon if one wishes to. Moreover, this way you get to see and experience many other exciting things along the way

It’s possible to take the car to us from anywhere in Europe! If you’re a family with children or a group traveling together, it can actually be a very cost-effective option! Not to mention environmentally friendly if you have access to an electric car.

Traveling by electric car takes a little longer and requires more planning, but it’s not difficult to find charging stations as the network in Europe is well developed.

Traveling by car also gives you the freedom to stop anywhere along the way, discover cities, small villages, and try local specialties.

We welcome you in the arrival hall at the airport (by Starbucks) and drop you off at your rooms in our surf camp. You can book the transfer with us if your flight arrives on Thursdays and Sundays between 9AM-7PM and departs on Sundays between 10AM-8PM.

Fuerteventura, Spain
We welcome you in the arrival hall at the airport and drop you off at your rooms in our surf camp. You can book the transfer with us if your flight arrives on Mondays between 9AM-7PM and departs on Mondays between 10AM-8PM.

At the airport, there are various car rental companies such as Avis, Hertz, and Sixt if you wish to rent a car. Be sure to rent from a provider that has cars available at the airport. If you want the freedom to drive during the week, there is also the possibility to rent conveniently near our villa.

Fuerteventura, Spain
There is so much to discover on Fuerteventura, so for the adventurous, we can definitely recommend renting a car. At the airport, there are various car rental companies such as Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Sixt, and Cicar if you wish to rent a car.

We recommend that you make sure you have suitable travel insurance in case anything happens. Often, some travel insurance is included in your home insurance. Before the trip, we recommend that you check what applies to you specifically, and if you don’t already have one, it may be a good idea to obtain a European Health Insurance Card thru your insurance company.

Keep in mind that it may take up to 10 working days before you receive it by mail.

Travel Guarantee Act

When booking a trip with Magnus & friends, the Travel Guarantee Act is always included. The guarantee provides financial protection for you when a trip is canceled or interrupted. You can then apply for compensation from the travel guarantee. The application for compensation must have been received by Kammarkollegiet no later than three months after the trip has been canceled, interrupted, or for any other reason not taken place. Central rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302

The combined travel services you are offered constitute a package holiday within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you are covered by all EU rights applicable to package holidays. Magnus & friends AB will be fully responsible for ensuring that the package holiday as a whole is properly carried out. In addition, Magnus & friends AB, by law, has protection to refund your payments if they were to become insolvent.

  • Travelers will receive all essential information about the package holiday before entering into the package travel contract.
  • There is always at least one trader who is liable for ensuring that all travel services included in the contract are properly performed.
  • Travelers are provided with an emergency telephone number or details of a contact point where they can get in touch with the organizer or travel agency.
  • Travelers may transfer the package holiday to another person, with reasonable notice and possibly at an additional cost.
  • The price of the package holiday may only be increased if specific costs increase (such as fuel prices), and if this is expressly provided for in the contract, and in any event not later than 20 days before the start of the package holiday. If the price is increased by more than 8% of the price of the package holiday, the traveler may terminate the contract. If the organizer reserves the right to increase the price, the traveler is entitled to a price reduction if the relevant costs decrease.
  • Travelers may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee and receive a full refund of all payments if any of the essential elements of the package holiday other than the price are significantly changed. If the trader responsible for the package holiday cancels the package holiday before the start of the package holiday, travelers are entitled to a refund and compensation, if applicable.
  • Travelers may terminate the contract before the start of the package holiday without paying a termination fee, for example, in the event of serious security problems at the destination that would likely affect the package holiday.
  • In addition, travelers may terminate the contract at any time before the start of the package holiday for a reasonable and justified termination fee.
  • If significant parts of the package holiday cannot be provided according to the contract after the start of the package holiday, suitable alternative arrangements must be offered at no extra cost. Travelers may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee if the services are not provided in accordance with the contract and this substantially affects the performance of the package holiday and the organizer does not remedy the problem.
  • Travelers are also entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages if the travel services are not performed or are performed improperly.
  • The organizer must provide assistance if the traveler is in difficulty.
  • If the organizer or, in some member states, the retailer becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded. If the organizer or, where applicable, the retailer becomes insolvent after the start of the package holiday and if transport is included in the package holiday, repatriation of travelers is secured.
  • Magnus and friends AB has entered into insolvency protection with Vector Nordic AB. Travelers may contact this entity or, where applicable, the competent authority Kammarkollegiet, Birger Jarlsgatan 16, 114 34 Stockholm, 08-700 08 00, registratur@kammarkollegiet.se if services are not provided due to the insolvency of Magnus and friends AB.

  1. The winner is chosen, unless otherwise stated, by a jury consisting of representatives from Magnus & friends. The jury’s decision is final and cannot be appealed, and the jury is not required to justify its decision.
  2. The winner will be informed personally via private message or comments linked to the winner’s social media profile. If the winner cannot be reached within 3 days, Magnus & friends reserve the right to select a new winner in the competition.
