The weather

Fuerteventura is located just off the coast of West Africa, providing us with a warm and pleasant climate year-round. It’s as far south as you can get while still being in Europe.

During the day, temperatures range between 20-28 degrees Celsius year-round, with brilliant sunshine nearly every day. In the evenings, we enjoy more chilling temperatures between 15-20 degrees Celsius. Unlike other parts of Europe, the water temperature remains between 18-23 degrees Celsius year-round. Here, we only surf in a thin wetsuit and enjoy cooling off in the water during a warm day at the beach. Fuerteventura has a dry climate which, combined with fresh sea breezes, makes the island a perfect destination for an active holiday!

Excursions to experience on the island

Explore

Volcano hike

Check off a point on your bucket list by embarking on a breathtaking hike on the volcanoes in El Teide National Park.

From the top, you’ll have a striking view from coast to coast across the entire northern part of the island and a magical view of the turquoise waters. For an even more euphoric experience, we recommend hiking in the afternoon, as you will witness the sunset from entirely new heights.

An adventure you’ll never forget.

Cool down in beautiful

Tide pools

Explore and take a dip in hidden natural pools formed in the volcanic stone when the tide is low. One of the most beautiful places in Fuerteventura is the natural pool known as The Rock Pool in Caleta de Fuste, hidden near Puerto del Rosario.

The water is crystal clear, and the pool is surrounded by dark volcanic rocks. It’s a fantastic spot to relax for a few hours and capture some photos to immortalize memories.

Get an adrenaline rush with

Dune buggy

Experience the thrill of driving an ATV off-road along the breathtaking coast amidst vast sand dunes and majestic volcanoes.

Feel the adrenaline pumping as you navigate through the stunning scenery and create unforgettable memories on this adventurous journey. Be prepared for incredible views and getting dusty!
