COVID-19 and how it affects your trip
Here in Baleal, life is simple, as most revolves around surfing and enjoying outdoor activities. The vibe and waves are as great as always!
There are no COVID-related restrictions for traveling to Portugal. Since July 1, 2022, EU COVID certificates or tests are not required upon entry. Most local restrictions within Portugal have also been lifted. The only remaining requirement is wearing masks for adults and children over 10 years old in public transportation and healthcare settings (e.g., pharmacies). For the latest information, please refer to Visit Portugal.
Travel with a passport or national ID card
You can choose to travel with either a passport or national ID card when entering Portugal. As of May 10, the fee for a national ID card has been reduced from 400 SEK to 100 SEK. Additionally, the waiting time for a national ID card is significantly shorter than for a passport.

The joy of being outdoors!
We at Magnus & friends consider ourselves fortunate as we spend most of our time outdoors by the sea in the Portuguese countryside. We are also happy to promote an active lifestyle, especially considering that many of us have spent a lot of time sitting still over the past year.
